We're delighted that Barnsley Hospice have joined our Alliance
Barnsley Hospice is a charity which provides specialist palliative and end of life care for adults living with a life-limiting illness, including dementia, and the people close to them.
A range of services are provided by a multidisciplinary team at the hospice to support people from early in their diagnosis - helping them to live as well as possible. The Orangery, support and wellbeing service at the hospice, provides group sessions where patients can socialise and learn techniques to cope with symptoms, as well as complementary therapies. The counselling and bereavement service is also available for patients and their families and friends.
