Closer to Home clinics, hosted by Dementia UK and Leeds Building Society

Is your family affected by dementia? Book onto a face-to-face or virtual clinic and speak to a specialist dementia nurse.

You can book onto one of the Closer to Home clinics, hosted by Dementia UK and Leeds Building Society, to speak face-to-face with a specialised dementia nurse for advice or about the support available. Nurses will be visiting Leeds Building Society branches to speak with people living with dementia and their family carers. Clinics will be held at the Barnsley branch from 17 January to 30 March, and appointments can be booked online at dementiauk.org/closertohome

Dementia UK also offer virtual clinics where families affected by dementia can book a free, confidential 45-minute appointment with a specialised dementia nurse. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm, and take place over the phone or by video call.
